Mandelic acid is therefore ideal in the treatment of small wrinkles and skin lines, especially in photoaged skin, it makes the skin brighter, cleaner, more compact and clearer.
Thanks to its chemical/physical properties, mandelic acid-based treatments are called summer peels since, unlike those containing other AHAs, it is not photosensitizing.
